The BWAC is the Brisbane Water Aqualung Club, a ‘not for profit’ scuba diving club based in the NSW Central Coast area (which, incidentally, is nowhere near Brisbane, QLD). The club owns two dive boats and runs dives most weekends.
The Membership of BWAC is extremely diverse and ranges from divers who scraped the bottom of Noah’s Ark to novices who are literally wet behind the ears! There are those who delight in the thrill of deep dives and others who prefer shallower jaunts. Old & young, all shapes, sizes colours & creeds, BWAC will accommodate you. The club not only has active divers from around the Central Coast region but also people from Sydney, a strong contingent from the Hunter and other areas of the state. All you need is a love of diving and appropriate certification…
And some cash….
And your equipment…
And probably some seasick tablets as well….just in case…
And some snakes…
We normally dive from two locations:
The public wharf, Ferry Road, Ettalong Beach
The Haven, Terrigal
